Apparently it does. Bo Qua Qua is staying in the U.S. So is Ling Jihua's brother who bought a three million dollars house in the Sacramento area.

And so is Yale Guen Mar. He will continue to supplement his welfare checks from Uncle Sam with 50 cents per approved post on soc.culture.china from Uncle Chang.

I find it odd that WashingtonPost entitled the article as if Chinese have American dreams is something the US could or should be proud of.

As a matter of fact, no one will have the "American Dream" if he knows he will be a loser in the US. Many Chinese believe that they can out compete Americans in America. Many, inevitably, would be disappointed. In this sense, Chinese people having American Dream is not different from Chinese have Las Vegas Dream or Atlantic City Dream.

On the other hand, if one assumes that Americans and Chinese are as hardworking and as smart, any Chinese probably has a better chance of out competing 350 million Americans in America than 1350 Chinese in China, assuming his English is OK
