Yang was formerly China's ambassador to the US. So he should understand the workings of the US.

Read elsewhere that this guy Yang is a "spy" by eavesdropping and listening
to other people's talking and whispering to each other at meetings.

He would sit beside or two seats away from his delegation leader when his
leader was meeting their opposite counterpart from the foreign country.

The leader who can be his Chinese president or foreign minister or
ambassador will be doing his speaking but he would be doing his "spying and
eavesdropping" over them while looking at them.

He would be "straining" his ear to those members of the foreign members
sitting opposite of them at the meeting table.

Instead of watching what his leader was speaking and talking, he would be
"cocking: his ears at foreign members sitting opposite the table.

He would spent his time watching the cues of eyes and smiles and hands
movements of them to ascertain their sincerity of responses back to them.

He would engage his watching and listening and eavesdropping of whatever
them were being said to each other and back to them.

He seemed he is a "condemned" member who would had been retired long time
ago.

He was given to the current post of "errand boy" position, doing a messenger
and errand service job when accompanying any of his leader's overseas
visits.

He is more or less a minister with "middle-of-the road-of-no-where" in this
current post which held on to this post for several years already.

This was after he stepped down as foreign minister some years ago after he
finished tenure was over after 10 years.

Other foreign minsters who finished their 10 years of tenure end up at home,
but it was not for him, as he was kept to hold this post.

His job is to accompanying the Chinese president and other top officials
when they attending overseas visits and meetings.

During the meetings with their overseas counterparts, he was their
"eavesdropper" and "spy" watching for them.

This is because he can speak and write and understand of several foreign
languages, including English, too.

Heard from speeches made by this guy Yang, he seemed boastful and arrogance
and unprofessional ways with undiplomatic talking skills.

For what he is now - he just a "politburo member" only. He is just like a
"minister without portfolio"

Unfortunately, the Chinese president so far cannot find another
English-speaking and foreign language "spy" and "eavesdropper" to replace
him.

If one looks at him,. he has a "baby-faced" look. A child not grown up up
fully maturity.
